Apostle Marion Davis-Patterson is the Establishmentarian of Victory Christian International Fellowship of Churches with thriving congregations along the East Coast and Mid-West of the United States of America. She is the founding pastor of Victory Cathedral Worship Center (formerly known as Victory In Christ Ministries, Inc.) in Durham, North Carolina. Her service in proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ spans the course of four decades; serving in the capacities of Itinerant Evangelist, Senior Pastor, Diocesan and Presiding Bishop.
Apostle Patterson has an extensive educational background, having earned Certificates in Homiletics and Religious Education from the Pastoral and Evangelistic School of Ministry (Hillsborough, NC) and Virginia Union Theological Seminary (Richmond, VA); Associate of Science in Funeral Service from Stratford University (Falls Church, VA); Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Master of Arts in Counseling from North Carolina Central University (Durham, NC); Bachelor of Theology from United Christian College (Goldsboro, NC); and Doctorate of Divinity from the New Covenant Bible College and Theological Seminary (Inglewood, CA). Additionally, she has taken doctoral classes at both Duke and North Carolina State Universities. Professionally, she is a retired educator with over thirty years of service from the Durham Public Schools System (Durham, NC).
She is active in the community and civic affairs, having established tutoring programs at the Durham County Library, Fred Astaire Dance Studio and her own local church, providing private marriage, family and personal counseling. She has received numerous commendations, awards, and proclamations from local and national government. She has traveled extensively in the United States, Puerto Rico and abroad inspiring congregations and others with a message of hope. She is a well sought-after psalmist, preacher, teacher, counselor, mentor, intercessor, and ‘Mother of Nations’ to many.
Finally, a nurturer and lover of family, she is the proud mother of two biological sons, Mario and Tobias; one son, Ezra, one daughter, the late Kimberly, and six grandchildren in her extended family.
